We are students of the University of Arkansas Fort Smith under Dr. Lindsy Lawrence. This website was developed as a product of our Digital Humanities course research.
CARMILLA AND QUEER THEORY
Samantha Martin

Identified queer language, situations, and characters in all serials of Carmilla. Analyzed Queer textual references of the Victorian Era.
Lissa Brooks
​
Created a website format, uploaded and edited
submitted works, and created graphs of Carmilla metadata.

Tiffany Cooksey
​
Researched and detailed Victorian Era perceptions of Sex and bodily functions. Examined the home in regards to supernatural aspects of Victorian pop culture.

Samantha Briggs
​
Researched queer instances in multiple texts as well as Victorian society. Analyzed patterns of queer oppression as view able through media.
The Victorian Vampire
Nikolle Dixon
​
Researched the timeline of the Victorian Vampire and formatted sections of the website. Examined modern pop culture references to the Victorian Vampire archetype.
Teagyn Shook
​
Helped peer review sections of the website in relation to her subgroup. Also researched into timeline information for the Victorian Vampire.
Sherman Miranda
Researched the Victorian Vampire and contributed to the timeline. Provided information for The Victorian Vampire in Popular Culture.

Johnny Resendiz
Was in charge of creating the Carmilla timeline. Helped coordinate the metadata that would go into the timeline.

Researched and collected Victorian texts from 1905-1911 for the timeline. Helped create forms, guides, and researched for sub project 3.
